The festivities commenced with a pre-wedding welcome dinner, bringing together Chelsea and Justin's beloved friends and family at the stunning Mykonos Kalesma. With the radiant full moon casting its glow over the gathering, the atmosphere was imbued with a sense of enchantment and anticipation. As Chelsea took the microphone, she playfully remarked, "As you see, we have a full moon, and everybody can howl all night long..." This lighthearted comment set the tone for the entire wedding celebration.
Guests danced the night away, their happiness and laughter infectious as they reveled in the joy of the occasion. Looking around, one could see only smiling faces, each person sharing in the love and excitement that surrounded the couple. What I really love about traveling for destinations weddings is that I have the chance to always experience new things through photography - and this happened also in Mykonos due the amazing aesthetic of Kalesma hotel!
Chelsea was the first person that told me how beautiful was there and that we should make the first look & portraits with Justin in Kalesma, but only when I was there I could understand her words... Cycladic islands have abstract vibes in all aspects - to their lifestyle & food and specially to architecture. Kalesma hotel is a perfect combination of Cycladic elegance that transformed this couple's vision to a reality!
The amazing team of Philip & Rene - Living Design Decor - fly all over from Vancouver Canada to Mykonos to plan & decorate this wedding - but most of all sharing surprises with the couple and guests the whole time! And the perfect person for this case to be together was Kostas Kastanakis - a very good friend & amazing videographer artist!
